Grosset & Dunlap, 1957. Hardcover. Excellent/Very Good. Vintage Tweed Cloth Cover Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Book itself is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears to be unread. There is a name written neatly in the upper right hand corner of the first end page and then no other writing or marks inside or outside of the book. Outside tweed cloth covers are nice with some minor corner wear. Dust Jacket show some minor soiling to the back cover and some edge chipping primarily at the top and bottom of the outside spine. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Book has come from a private collection. Book Club Edition. We Were There Books are easy to read and provide exciting, entertaining stories, based upon true historic events. Each story is checked for factual accuracy by an outstanding authority on this particular phase of history. Though written simply enough for young readers, they make interesting reading for boys and girls well into their teens. One of our family's favorite series!
