No other library marks or labels, no envelope."100 Original Drawings by Frank Beard." Front gutter cracked but volume square, text block firm and well attached. Some edge wear to red boards wtih bright gilt lettering in oval fleur-de-lis border on front board and tarnished but clear on sunned spine. Slight bumping of corners and few smudges.

Maroon board binding w/ extensive stamped designs & gold gilt lettering & oval title frame on front, gold lettering on spine. Binding Fair, esp. for age- light soil, some rubbing, edge wear, frays, corner bumps, spine title block (2"" x 2"") partly separated from spine. Front & back boards were separated, but at one time appear to have been professionally re- hinged w/ flexible hinge strips placed under existing & handsome peacock feather design endpapers- nicely done. All gilt on cover & spine is crisp & intact. Despite flaws noted, overall this copy displays quite well. Text itself is VG; only light toning- tight, clean, unmarked, w/ no cracks in text block.
