The covers are slightly bumped. viii, [ii] & 140 pages, profusely illustrated from photographs by the author and Louise Birt Baynes, including several full-page. Ex-library, withdrawn from the "Frank L. Boyden Library / Deerfield Academy" with their withdrawal stamp over their bookplate and also stamped on the rear pastedown. A label has been removed from the rear endpaper and a number is stamped at the bottom of the first page of the foreword. An early owner's name is penned at the top of the front pastedown and the blurb from the dust jacket (which is not here present) is mounted opposite the half-title. Good. <p>First edition.
