Dark green cloth with red-stamped spine and cover titles. Top page edges red. Dark brown endpapers. Publisher's advertisement for other works by the author on final page. Printed in red and black. No date of publication; 1924 is the year commonly assigned to this printing. Contents: Von mir uber mich -- Der Nockergreis -- Die fromme Helene -- Plisch und Plum -- Pater Filucius, allegorisches Zeitbild -- Tobias Knopp -- Bilder zur Jobsiade -- Die Haarbeutel -- Balduin Bahlamm -- Der Geburtstag oder Die Partikularisten -- Fipps, der Affe -- Maler Klecksel -- Dideldum! A heavy book, which will require extra shipping if purchased out of the United States. In Very Good Condition: cover is lightly soiled; small puncture in the center of the spine; 1-cm. tear from head of spine, without loss; very faint dampstain along fore-edges of last few leaves; otherwise, pages are clean and bright. The dark green binding is much scarcer than the other cloth bindings that are found on the various early 20th-century printings of this popular work.
