SIGNED and numbered by Laura Davis, this being copy #20; and 40 unnumbered copies on all-rag Arches text and Fabriano Ingres. small 8vo (5 x 7 ½"); [14]pp. The calligraphic text was drawn by Laura Davis who also redrew the illustrations originally designed by Franklin's grandson. With original prospectus (SIGNED by Peter Bishop) in envelope. All copies sewn into stiff cream wrappers with title and silhouette of Franklin to upper wrapper. A fne copy, as new. Peter Bishop founded The Petrarch Press in 1985 with the goal of publishing important classical literature in fine, hand-printed editions produced to the very highest standards. He retired from printing about ten years later and it is now uncommon to find publications of The Petrarch Press from the Peter Bishop era.
