New York: Random House. New in New dust jacket. 1964. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. First Edition, first printing stated on copyright page. Copyright page says 1964, but it was actually only released April 11th 1967. Laid in is a receipt for Aug 12th 1967 for $3.95 + Tax. I very rarely describe a book as mint, but I believe this one qualifies. The book certainly looks brand new, in spite of its 60 year age. Tight binding, bright yellow top edge and clearly unread. Equally mint dust wrapper, $3.95 on inside flap and code 4/67 at the bottom. Now in a protective acetate cover. A VERY EXCEPTIONAL copy looking like it just came off the press. Publisher Note Inside states the following; "Until the appearance of this edition, only a single copy of this book existed. It is a small book (51/4 x 6 3/4 inches) , typed and bound by the author in varicolored paper. On the left-hand page facing the dedicatory verse is typed: single mss, impression oxford-mississippi-5-february-1927". ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

VG/VG condition unclipped dust jacket, printed price $12.95 Mr. Rogers appears on the back dj panel wearing a pale blue sweater.
