[Boston: Wild & Stevens, 1900. First Edition. 12mo (15cm.); publisher's grey staplebound decorative wrappers; 15pp.; illus. throughout. Wrappers rather toned and slightly soiled, tiny chip at bottom fore-edge corner of upper cover and first few leaves; still, overall Very Good, internally near fine. Brief manual issued by the Boston printing company Wild & Stevens on the proper process of cleaning one's roller composition. The text explains in great detail the evils of benzine on human skin and a roller, which is made of synthetic skin, and concludes "Wash your rollers with kerosene. Nothing else, unless absolutely necessary," accompanied by the illustration "Toilet Aids" (Type face: benzine; printer's face: soap; roller face: kerosene). Uncommon: not found in commerce or OCLC as of July, 2020.
