A. H & A. W. Reed, Sydney, 1975. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Photographic. Acknowledgements, introduction by author, 2 appendices and index. Green coloured pages. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs, maps, figures and line drawings. Blue coloured boards with small gilt and white coloured illustration to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel, and gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with blue and black coloured title to the front panel and backstrip. The title says it all, in which the author sets out to teach in a practical manner the art of navigation for yachtsmen. Rubbing of the backstrip edges, top book corners and there is an erosion to the lower edge of the front panel. Age toning of the text block edges, and, a few small foxing spots also present. Previous owners name to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. Minor rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. (1), 2-32 pages..
