About This Item
New York: Knopf. 1920. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Spine a sunned and dulled. The front free endpaper has the owner's name at the top and the address with date at the bottom; both are done in dark ink. The jacket has a large chip 1" deep and nearly 3" across, at lhe top edge. It has a tall, narrowing chip at the foot of the dulled spine, removing most of the publisher's name. The rear flap is only 1¼" wide instead of 3" wide like the front flap. It may be a trial jacket or it may be that someone has trimmed it oddly, but as called for by Crane, the rear flap is blank. Fair to good-.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 303 pp .
