In the beginning of the book, Herbert Benson gives too many studies that indicate that the mind plays a primary role in healing.Found him to have something to say if he just wouldn't say it so many times but worth a read. His relaxation techniques and remembered wellness are excellent methods to living a healthy and positive life.

A must read for pet and livestock owners. Wish I had more time to rave about this man!

McCarthy does have a vivid descriptive style but the plot is predictable. Where did he get the title? Got so tired of the characters lighting up a cigaret.Don't quite understand why it got the National Book Award.

Liz has gone too far in documenting her horses thoughts....they quote Shakespeare and the Bible. How in the world do they know of Harry Potter?I didn't mind that it was repetitive....I would expect that from a horse. The photos and paintings were dynamite. Liz you missed on this one....

Loved this story...couldn't put it down. Unusual for a Western to have a protagonist a woman.
