New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1941. Stated First Edition. Hardcover. VERY GOOD PLUS IN VERY GOOD DJ. Dust jacket corners clipped, but original price still present on both front and rear flaps. Some minor rubbing to extremities, now protected in mylar. Book itself beautifully bound in red cloth boards, with gilt lettering to spine. Signed and inscribed by author on front free endpaper. One corner slightly nudged, some very slight rubbing to front cover. Very small stain to page in back. 158 pp.

London: Heinemann, 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Plus in Good Dust Jacket. Dark blue cloth with titles in gilt and Heinemann imprint in black. Text bright with some light foxing to edges and preliminary pages and margins. Light wear to top and bottom of spine, corners a bit nudged, textblock tight an square. Dust jacket has one inch spine chip at top of spine where title once was, general wear to edges and fols, and some closed tears. Jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.

Brick red cloth-covered boards with rectangular vignette containing author's full name within, in gilt, and gilt lettering to spine. Very slight rubbing to extremities, and a wee bit of shelf rub to spine caps. Overall, tight, clean, and appears barely read. Publisher's red topstain. Fore-edge deckled. Dustjacket shows some general smudging, light edgewear, and several small chips along bottom of spine and front panel. Price Clipped. Entitled Terras do sem fim, this novel was translated from its original Portuguese by Samuel Putnam.
