Cocker Spaniel Breeders' Club of New England. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. Twenty separate catalogues (1 from the 1930s, 12 from the late 1940s, 7 from the 1950s) of the Annual Specialty Shows of the Cocker Spaniel Breeders' Club of New England. All of the catalogues are bright and clean and VG in their pictorial stapled wrappers. Small former owner name at many of the front covers, a number of the catalogues have knowledgeable entries (including show results) written in. 3 copies of the Oct. 18, 1946 show, 3 copies of the Oct. 29, 1949 show, 2 copies of the Oct. 17 1947 show, 2 copies of the Oct. 23, 1948 show and 2 copies of the Oct. 30, 1954 show included.

A wonderful crop of "The Cocker Spaniel Visitor", a monthly trade magazine devoted to news by and for the breeders of Cocker Spaniels. 17 issues all told, ranging from 1941 thru 1945. All issues solid and clean in their charming pictorial wrappers. Light wear and soiling to several of the covers but this selection has remained clean and very solid. Quartos, hundreds and hundreds of crisp black-and-white photos and dog-related ads thruout.

Providence, R.I.: Cocker Spaniel Club of Rhode Island. 1st. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. 18 separate specialized dog show catalogues produced by the Cocker Spaniel Club of Rhode Island and ranging from 1945 thru 1960. All of the shows were sponsored by the American Kennel Club and all cover highly-professional, sanctioned events. Each catalogue is clean, bright and VG+ or better in its original printed (or pictorial) wrappers. Several of the octavo catalogues have neat former owner names on the front covers and all are very sharp internally, containing wonderful local, dog-related ads.

An immaculate copy to boot fo the 2009 1st edition. Fine in a bright, Fine dustjacket. Oblong quarto, nicely illustrated thruout. Signed by Author(s).

Several Harrison Fisher paintings (reproduced in vivid color) complement the text.

The 1st edition (c. 1910 and in the less common hardback) of this charming tale of Pippin the puppy and his inevitable misadventures. Wonderfully illustrated on each recto and in rich color by the great Cecil Aldin. A solid, VG- quarto in its pictorial green cloth, with soiling to the front panel edges and light foxing at the preliminaries. Neat former owner inscription as well at the verso of the front free endpaper. Still though, a handsome, very presentable copy of a fragile title.
