Tuli's great underground triumph, mocking the brain-deadening path so many choose with this inspired example of subversive list-making. Clean and VG+. Just a touch of very light chipping to the rear panel's top-edge, otherwise very clean. Quarto, an "American Society for the Advancement of Anthropophagy Publication" (issue #1), in reality published by Birth Press in New York's East Village, at 381 East 10th Street.

J. Ryan, 1983. 1st. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. Nice collection of original artwork featured in this 1983 'zine. Artists include Don Chin, C. Maree, Clay Geerdes, Walter Rodgers, Roldo, J. Ryan, Liam Shannon and Jim Siergey. VG in its stapled wrappers. 64mo.

Chicago: The Revolutionary Student Briagde, 1974. Original wraps. Near Fine. The 1974 supplement to "Fight Back! The Monthly Newspaper of the Attica Brigade". The mantle here has been taken over by the Revolutionary Student Brigade, the call for radical "justice" no less impassioned. The commitment to maintain a national student paper of protest and to attack what the readership widely perceived as American imperialist policies remained as firm as ever in this new mouthpiece. This copy is clean and startlingly well-preserved, especially given its age and its fragile paper. Bright and Near Fine, with several tiny, inevitable tears along the brittle spine and fore-edges. Smooth and unfolded, and presents very well.

Domesday Books (Grove Press), 1969. 1st. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. The 1969 satirical prograpm ("pogrom") of the Chicago Conspiracy Trial. Edited by Michael O'Donoghue (of early "Saturday Night Live" fame), among others. VG in its stapled wrappers. Quarto, 25 pgs.

New York: New Wave Publications, 1966. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good +. A nice Association copy: WARMLY INSCRIBED BY ERJE AYDEN TO THE EDITOR OF NEW WAVE PUBLICATIONS, JOHN AHERN, on the title page. A solid copy to boot of the uncommon February 1966 1st edition. Clean and Near Fine in its dark-green cloth. And in a crisp, VG+ dustjacket, with very light chipping --and several small closed tears-- along the panel edges. Octavo, jacket design by Jeff Metzner, jacket photo by Nebil Ozgen.

Bright and VG- in its spiral-bound wrappers, with the front panel detached from its binding. Light soiling as well to the panels but, still, solid and very presentable.

Newspaper. Very Good. The uncommon April 2009 maiden issue of "Electric Annihilation", an interesting underground newspaper/'zine published out of San Francisco. This first issue features interviews with Henry Rollins of Black Flag and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. Light wear and creasing along the edges, several small closed tears to the fragile magazine. Still though, solid and well-preserved. "This publication is here to document the underground experimental music that is taking place right now across the globe. Music that tears down the facade of what music is or should be."

Staten Island, NY: Attica Brigade, 1973. Original wraps. Near Fine. The September-October 1973 maiden issue of "Fight Back! Monthly Newspaper of the Attica Brigade, an Anti-Imperialist Student Organization". The front cover of this issue is devoted to an ongoing, massive strike at University of Wisconsin, Madison and the mission statement on pg. 2 declares that the purpose of this paper is to "spread the growing antiimperialist struggles and consciousness to canpuses throughout the country". This copy is crisp and very well-preserved: clean, bright and Near Fine. Neatly folded in half for mailing purposes but, happily, there's no mailing label attached -- or any other marks to speak of. A very sharp copy of the first issue of "Fight Back"

New York: Harper & Row, 1981. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. An uncommon example of the pre-publication Uncorrected Proof. Tight and VG in its printed beige wrappers. Octavo, 352 pgs.

Cincinnati: Little Man Press, 1942. 1st. Original Wraps. Collectible; Fine. The 1942 1st edition of this uncommon fine press offering. #43 of only 125 copies issued, EACH SIGNED BY THE ILLUSTRATOR JAMES FLORA on the limitation page. Bright and Near Fine in its stapled, pictorial card wrappers. 12mo, beautiful woodcuts by James Flora thruout. The 3 stories featured are: "The Monkey Cane"; "Little Bell" and "The Hotel" Signed by Illustrator.

Washington, D.C.: Indochina Resource Center, 1972. Original wraps. Very Good +. The scarce August 1st, 1972 printing of Indochina Chronicle (No. 18). Most notable in this issue (and its centerpiece) is the June 1972 testimony before Congress of Alfred McCoy, a young doctoral student in Southeast Asian History at Yale, who was called in to discuss the growing problem of the "flourishing narcotics trade in South Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand". This testimony, along with other articles McCloy had written, would soon evolve into his seminal book "The Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia". This issue of "Indochina Chronicle" has held up nicely: solid and VG to VG+ in its stapled wrappers, with a tiny bit of light staining to the front panel. Quarto, 24 pgs. Includes other articles such as "Premier Khiem's Family Mafia", "Heroin, Opium and the Little Man" and "Flowers of Evil" (also by Alfred McCoy). An important document in America's ever-deepening involvement in Southeast Asia and uncommon as such.

London: Morel. Decorative Boards. Fine. An immaculate copy of this posthumous publication, out of London, of Rene Ricard's "Notebook 2010-2012". Clean and Fine in its decorative silk boards, limited to 300 copies. From the Introduction: "Here we have a rare insight into Rene's working process with drawings, drafts of poems, finished poems, witty remarks and memories. Rene wrote this notebook as a work in itself therefore the decision to keep it as a facsimile." Another reflection at the Introduction by Raymond Foye, Rene's editor in the brilliant "Hanuman Books" series. Published circa 2013-2014.
