New Orleans, La.: Louisiana Printing Co. Press, N.d.. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo. 92 pages. Protected in mylar. No publication date, but circa 1912. The author is noted as the historian for the Stonewall Jackson Chapter of New Orleans, No. 1135 U.D.C. (1909-1911). The binding is in good solid condition, but has a small water stain on the upper right hand front corner and a large water stain on the lower right hand front corner. These water stains continue through out the text block of the book and are fairly light. Otherwise, internally, the book is clean. "The author has derived her data not alone from written history, but largely from the lips of those who were participants in that memorable struggle - men who had been comrades of Mumford, confreres of Benjamin, and survivors of the ill-fated Louisiana.
