Pencil note by previous owner on ffep that this copy was a Christmas gift in year of publication, text clean and unmarked.

From the library of Prof. Warner Berthoff, his underscoring and notes on approximately 5 pages (in a book review by Moore on post-war poetry).

Divided into Part One "Writings of the War" and Part Two "Writings during the War." Cover 5-1/4" x 7-15/16", lightly soiled, lettering on spine light-faded. Binding tight (though one section, p. 223-258, evidently not fully glued to the binding during production). Text clean and unmarked.
