Softcovers, bound in printed green wrappers titled and decorated in black & green on the front cover and spine. The covers are creased and stained. The catalog was apparently bound in, intact, with others and early linen tape is mounted to the spine. 128 pages printed in green and black and profusely illustrated in black & white. Good. A substantial catalog which, as is proclaimed on the title page "contains a comprehensive description of the equipment adapted for a wide range of garment and textile manufacturing lines." The company further states that "Only brief reference is made to such machines as the Lewis, Merrow, Metropolitan and Eastman, on which we offer complete catalogs mailed on request."

Near fine. <p>Potlach Corporation demonstrates the qualities of its papers through a series of full-page color illustrations. Each illustration first appears with a circular keyhole revealing a second version of the same illustration printed on a Potlatch stock. Production notes, artists' credits and information about the stocks is printed on the inside rear wrap and fold.

Illustrated in color and black & white. Near fine. <p>The Hopper Paper Company demonstrates the quality of its papers in a booklet on Japanese Sumo wrestling and its history. The cover illustration reproduces the autographed palm print of a sumo wrestler, a form of memorabilia much prized by Sumo fans. The illustrations in the text reproduce Japanese prints or paintings and modern and vintage photographs of the wrestlers. The company's production notes are printed on the inner fold of the rear wrap.

The binding is bumped with creasing to the top inner corner of the front cover. There is some minor bubbling & a small, light stain to the rear cover & its top corner is chipped. There is a short tear & slight fraying to the head of the spine. 230 pages plus colophon. Black- and-white photographic illustrations & numerous tables. There is a small glue mark to the title page & to the facing illustration where a corrective printed label has been mounted over some previous copy. There is a red ink notation on the Contents page. A few rear bottom corners are bumped & a very small area of the bottom edge is soiled. Good.
