New York: 13th Street Theatre, 1975. Handbill. Single 8.5x11 inch handbill printed one side only, black ink on white stock featuring Art Deco lettering and silhouettes of male figures dancing, cast and crew lists below with reservation info, very good. A handbill for the original production in NYC starring Joe Barrett, Bobby Bowen and David Gallegly who this bibliographer worked with at LAAT and the Odyssey in Los Angeles in the 1980s. David passed from AIDS in 1993. He is missed.

New York: the University, 1938. 284p., glossy paperstock throughout much in the vein of lesser school yearbooks but ratcheted up to a Big Business production. Hardbound in massive 12.5x9 inch black cloth boards with pressed decoration and titling in raised bronze, doublespread photographic endsheets, running borders in purple ("violet") ink. Cover is badly frayed at top and tail of backstrip, but the book overall is is pretty good shape: sound hinges, no markings, no autographs or ownership. Laid in is an "In Memoriam" sheet with photo. Looking over lists of boardmen we see David Sarnoff (1931), Cass Canfield (33), a Roosevelt, and many names we should know but don't. There is no "Jokes" section, yet joking abounds. Includes sections on the ALP program, "Full, first class citizenship for the Negro people, Puerto Rican people, and all minorities," and fact sheets on the various mayoral candidates.

"An argument by a Communist member of the New York City Council in favor of keeping the five-cent fare on the New York subways. (This battle helped to break Michael Quill, head of the Transport Workers Union, and his organization away from the Party line, since the union supported the increase in order to win its wage demands.) *Seidman C3.

Double cardstock folder with facing pockets, 11x9 inches folded, one pocket containing an oversize paperbound of 227p with color vignette chapter heads, the opposite pocket holding an 8.5x5.5 inch booklet labelled "1995 Resolutions, Book One", and a flyer (described below). The folder is wrinkled and creased round the extremities, the two fascicles are completely sound, clean and unmarked. Laid is a simple flyer on color letterhead that lists the first-day program: invocation, keynote address, certain reports, and the scheduling of a visit from then-president Bill Clinton.

Terminal leaves show interiors of the two galleries and a large sepia photoportrait of Mr Amitava looking pleased. Mildest edgewear to cover, sound clean condition free of ownership or institutional markings. A very good copy, some rather strange art.

Two mimeographed 8.5x11 inch sheets stapled at corner, paper toned and brittle, chipped around edges but not reaching the printed portion. Not found in OCLC as of July 2023. The American Student Union was a left-wing student group, aligned at this time with the Communist Party. Includes articles on student government, a recent May Day parade, and an editorial complaining about the school administration's treatment of the group.

Magazine. 56p. includes covers, 5.25x8.25 inches, articles, photos, ads, program for the month of July very good digest size magazine in stapled pictorial wraps, two inserts: a notice of the understudy replacing Ron Liebman at the performance and the second a leaflet with the rep schedule. Playbill: the National Theatre magazine vol. 93, #7, July 1993. Program for the original Broadway run of the play which ran in repertory with "Perestroika" at the Walter Kerr beginning May 1993.
