Faint edgewear to front cover, a deep crease and touches of soil to rear cover, else sound, and entirely clean and unmarked. Terminal printed leaf bears the simple message (in Spanish) that this book was printed up to be distributed free, and that to sell it would be counterrevolutionary.

New York: AFL-CIO, 1995. Cardboard Covers. Double cardstock folder with facing pockets, 11x9 inches folded, one pocket containing an oversize paperbound of 227p with color vignette chapter heads, the opposite pocket holding an 8.5x5.5 inch booklet labelled "1995 Resolutions, Book One", and a flyer (described below). The folder is wrinkled and creased round the extremities, the two fascicles are completely sound, clean and unmarked. Laid is a simple flyer on color letterhead that lists the first-day program: invocation, keynote address, certain reports, and the scheduling of a visit from then-president Bill Clinton.

Think Tax Reform, with our man here the Reformer; the frontis photoportrait of him shows him costumed in revolutionary-era tricorn, kneepants, big square shoe-buckles. One of Levesque's chapters is entitled "Please Help Us Cancel Reaganomics," which he is quick to advise can also be pronounced PHUC Reganomics, and that it's "vital" that Reagan's selfish programs be "rooted out of our lives"; the author is not a right-winger and his proposed "mellow" system seems to be in a 60s spirit.

Hardbound in red cloth boards lettered in black and enclosed in the dust jacket. Book itself has a light sprinkle of foxing to top edge, the dust jacket mild edgewear, other than these we see no flaws: completely sound, clean and unmarked.

Original Wraps. 56p., tentative text with only one page showing corrections (in pencil, grammatical errors only), coverless signatures sewn with tough thread in good shape, the usual govt or quasi-govt publication in 9x6 inch self-wraps. Front cover (i.e., first page) bears an old ownership in pen & ink, dust-soil, handling crimps and a touch of foxing. Back cover has a spatter of ink (eighth-inch blobs) and more dust & foxing. As is, perfectly legible. Crude library binding, edgeworn from packing more than referrals, bump to a corner-tip, typed spine label disintegrating - but a useful handleable exemplar with no textual obstructions (i.e., no damage, no readership markings). Allied Geographical Section, Southwest Pacific area. Volume 2. NB, "volume two" like the other three volumes in the 4-volume series, is complete in itself.

Novelized expose, main character's name is Neslo, as in Olsen. According to dj vita Olsen has an engineering degree, worked in mining before joining major oil, quickly advanced to refinery superintendent, held management positions with independent oil refiners, at this writing lived in Oakland as a vice president of "one of the West's largest independents." Again from the dj, his thesis is that "the Arab oil crisis of 1973 was planned by the major American oil companies in order to quadruple the world price of oil. Pamphlet. 27p., softbound, a stapled pamphlet measuring 8.5x5.5 inches, divided precisely at the staple with a couple of printed notices laid in, everything in good clean order, near-fine. The talk concerns little-broached areas of pursuit, namely the Arabic principally but also Iranian/Persian and Ottoman Turkish. Professor Beckingham thinks that as constituted, Hakluyt is unready to tackle these promising projects. He also makes a case for map-makers to have been way behind experienced mariners in an understanding of geography and the lay of the land in general.

Massive collection of the year's publications in one binding, 12x8.5 inch buckram boards with initial and terminal blanks; professional work. The successive magazines all on coated paperstock with b&w site photography and scattered color reproductions; casebinding done with heavy-duty cloth hinges which are holding well, though casing feels slightly slack and spine titling is completely eroded. Each month is represented with separate magazines (covers thankfully bound in) entitled "Building News" and "Building Types", these serially paginated with substantial gaps in the beginning: as, January begins at p.28 and without any break (except that the "News" fascicle segues into the "Types" fascicle, each with a separate color cover) and concludes at p.104; February runs 40-122; March is 38-120.. and so on.
