A tight, clean, sound copy in dark green vinyl covered boards with silver lettering on the spine with only very minor overall shelf wear plus a small triangle cut off of the top right corner of the front endpaper. The dust jacket shows some very minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of very, very light edge wear mostly on the bottom edges. The adventures and escapades of a family that grew to love the land of Delta gumbo after leaving Alabama. The author, while growing up there with his brothers, found it a different, exciting place.
