The 2nd volume ontains recipes, ilustrated with drawing throughout, b&w frontis, endpapers contain charts of equivalnets used in cooking. unmarked. Both volumes bound in deep teal cloth with gold lettering on the spines. Aside from the gift inscription they are like new. The slipcase, in a darker shade of teal with a full-color pastedown, has wear on the corners and a 1 3/4" split on one of the edges toward the open side.
