Near Fine/Very Good. 1945 Little Brown True First American Book Club Edition with 1945 on both the title and copyright pages and no other printings cited. After the success in Britain it became the January 1946 Book Club of the Month selection and thus precedes the 1946 Trade Edition and far more elusive. A wonderful copy in Near FINE condition/in a VG DJ. The deep red boards have very little wear -simply bumps at the corners and the black ink is as bright as new. The interior is very clean and tight with just a tad of darkening to the end pages. The DJ has minor wear ar the corners and edges. A RARE copy!
