Half white linen binding over grey linen boards, housed in a grey linen slip case, with photo mounted on front cover. Very good condition (slight fading on back cover of slipcase, not affecting contents.)

A representative collection of this artist's work, where " . . . the interlocking relationship between what an artist creates and the environment he chooses to work in." are beautifully displayed.

Octavo (9 1/2 x 7 inches) Friends of the Bancroft Library, University of California, 1980. A keepsake of the Friends of the Bancroft Library printed by Lawton Kennedy. Stiff wrappers, good condition, 94 pages illustrated with captioned black and white photos.

The nine photographers discussed are Robert Vance, Carleton Watkins, Edweard Muybridge, Adam Clark Vroman, Arnold Genthe, Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, and Ansel Adams with an example of each of their works.
