Folio (8-1/2" x 12") bound in half red velvet with a green cloth spine label and green linen boards gold-stamped with a conventional Victorian pattern; 488 pages. Edited, with a Prologue and Copious Descriptive Particulars, by Reginald Allen; foreword by Bridget D'Oyly Carte. Copy #1087 of 1500 with 200 reproductions of contemporary illustrations. Also with 27 facsimiles, including one printed on red silk, loosely laid into a gold foil clamshell box which also fits into the slipcase. Issued unsigned. Monthly Letter laid in.
