Dustwrapper rather edgeworn; bump to fore-edges of boards; scattered foxing. Good condition, with dustwrapper. The text is from the Revised Version of the Apocrypha. Violet Brunton's whimsical illustrations charmingly depict the precepts highlighted. .

Large 4to; coarse light brown cloth, with lettering in dark brown, and pictorial onlay to upper cover; pp. (iv) + 128. Cloth somewhat worn to extremities, with some soiling; foxed throughout. Good condition. Limited edition Dutch translation, with the vivid Simmonds illustrations from the English Hodder & Stoughton edition of 1911. .

Boards very worn and rubbed; top fore-corner of lower board missing; gift inscription and ownership hand-stamp to front free endpaper; hinges starting; binding slack; some foxing and trace of damp ingress to bottom fore-corner of some leaves. Fair condition. Kate Greenaway's charming illustrations, printed in early colour. .

Extremities a little rubbed; scattered, light foxing. Good condition. An attractive production, combining FitzGerald's sensitive verse rendering of the original with Pogany's sensual Art-Nouveau images. .
