Beige card covers printed in dark blue; stapled. The show was "Cruisin' For a Bruisin'," written and directed by Howard Cates and accompanied on the piano by Ethel Hutchinson, who also played Ethel, the Skipper's wife. All of the other female roles were filled by male actors. Includes a list of contributors and many advertisements for local businesses. Scarce. In Very Good Condition: cover is slightly darkened along some edges; otherwise, clean and tight.

Corsham, Eng, 1902. Very Good -. Autograph letter signed, dated Oct. 22, 1902 (on Corsham Court, Wiltshire, stationary) to unknown recipient praising the Burnham Rifle Club, which had been formed in 1899 (either the first or second rifle club formed in England). Methuen concluded: "I should consider it a great honour to be elected a patron." Lieutenant General Paul Sanford Methuen (1845-1932) was captured during the Boer War in March 1902 but released tne returned to England during the summer. In Very Good- Condition: one horizontal fold; exterior is lightly soiled; interior is clean and bright.

Blue cloth with gilt-stamped spine title; black-and-grey-stamped spine and cover illustrations. No dust jacket. Black endpapers. Front free endpaper bears small bookplate of Russel A. Stelle; first blank leaf following bears inscription from Christmas 1912: "Presented to C. Norman Detweiler by S.C. Stelle." Harry Castlemon was the pseudonym of Charles Austin Fosdick (1842-1915), the author of many 3-to-6-volume series for boys published following the Civil War. This volume presents the adventures of Don Gordon and his brother Hubert at Bridgeport Military Academy. In Very Good Condition: edges are rubbed; head of spine just starting to fray; cover slightly soiled; slightly shaken; otherwise clean and tight.

Dumont, N.J.: Society of American Magicians of New Jersey, 1940. Very Good. [24] p.; 23 cm. Blue paper cover printed in dark blue, with cover illustration of a rabbit in a hat. Back cover contains advertisements. Program for magic performance held at Dumont High School Auditorium, May 3rd and 4th 1940, as a fundraiser for the Dumont fire companies. Presented by members of the Harry Rouclere Assembly, No. 25, Society of American Magicians. The music was provided by Charlie Gaige and Orchestra. Performers of magic include Ted Collins, Connie Bush (as Conrad Bush), ventriloquist William P. Braun, and Rouclere, Jr. (daughter of Harry Rouclere). Also contains advertisements for numerous local businesses including the Madison Beer Garden. In Very Good Condition: back cover slightly soiled; small stain in lower section of last 4 leaves; slight foxing along gutter of center 2 leaves; otherwise pages are clean and tight.

Contains instructions for various gymnastic activies and games, illustrated with drawings of boys performing the motions. By 1900 the author, Horace Butterworth, had become manager of the University of Chicago's football team. He was strongly opposed to the creation of professional football teams. In 1903 and 1904 he was director of athletics at Northwestern University and in 1907 he coached Temple University's football team to a 4-and-2 record.
