Original artist book published to coincide with an exhibition of Andre's block sculptures in Portland, Oregon February 11 - March 11, 1973. The show was dedicated to fellow artist Robert Smithson who had passed away in the same year. Includes the printed vellum sheet laid in which is the only text in the book of otherwise black and white photographs. Minor darkening to cover edges. Small ink notation near top of front panel. A very good copy of this important artist book from early in Andre's career.

A slender artist book collaboration between Hamilton and Raw. 4 pp printed on rectos only. A very good example. The inner pages are shorter and narrower than the printed paper covers which tends to lead to small creases at the edges of the covers. Also,, this copy has a crease on the rear panel. Still, a decent enough copy of an uncommon title.

France: Edite Aux Depens De Quelques Bibliophiles, 1947. First edition. Paperback. Good. Oversized 8vo. Little known and early work of drawings by Mitelberg, a French political cartoonist. Text in French by Ferrary and Roman. This copy INSCRIBED by Mitelberg and dated in 1946. A fragile production. This copy in good condition overall with small chips and wear to covers. One of twelve hundred hand numbered copies. Despite the ample limitation, we could find only two copies in world institutional holdings.

Book designed and illustrated by Mieko Meguro. Among the participants in the event were Dan Graham, Antoine Catala, Chris Cobb, Tara Bhaptacharya, Rose Brown and many others. A fine copy. All of these small illustrated artist books by Meguro featuring artist Dan Graham have become uncommon.

This item quickly sold out during the 2014 Art Book Fair in NYC and has since become very collectible. The Tom Sachs contribution is a zine entitled Bricolage Magazine #5 "Communication

Roll of paper is held in place by an elastic band, metal grommet and metal ball. Includes Reverend Guy Smith's lyrics to the traditional Southern hymn of the same title.

A new "take" on the Alice In Wonderland story by Wilson, Waits and Schmidt. Clear tape reinforcement to spine else a very good copy in bound wrappers. Laid into this copy are several related promotional pieces of paper plus a small flyer from the Paula Cooper Gallery. Inserts all in fine condition. With an Origal ink drawing on the inside front cover. Drawing is not signed, but appears to be an original Robert Wilson sketch.

Cloth covered book is in fine condition as is the cloth-covered slipcase. Book is fashioned in lepporello accordion fold-out style with small illustrated cards in transparent sleeves. Cards are silkscreened with illustrations. Special magnifying glass is attached to the front cover. Hand-set in Weiss Roman, Weiss Italic and wooden type, The cards were printed on Stonehenge and the images were silkscreened on Kozo paper. Book measures just over 3 1/2" x 4" tall. This is number 40 of 100 examples bound in linen and includes an Original Signed Lithograph by Motherwell. Near fine condition. A book that rarely seems to come to market and when it does, often lacks the original artwork. Quite handsome.

No Place: American Tapes, 1996. First edition. Loose Sheets. Fine. Collection of ten screen prints laid between two oak boards which have been screwed together. Stencil painted title and artist on front board. One of only 12 copies produced. Created and self-issued by John Olson in 1996 by his imprint American Tapes. An early and scarce book art release by the founder of the prolific American Tapes imprint, and of the seminal US noise band WOLF EYES, considered to be "kings of US noise" by The Wire. Dimensions of this piece are 8 3/4 by 13:. Printed on varying color and paper stocks. A rare artifact from the US noise musical movement and premier publisher of these materials.

This is copy 15 of only 40 printed (plus two artist proofs). Argos was a company that sold contemporary household items. A near fine copy in simple bound white wrappers with printed stickers on front and back panels. Scarce.

Translation provided by Eve Lerner. Loose leaves laid into wrapper and issued in a hand-made box designed by Jeanne Frere. Measures 37 x 39 cm. The edition was limited to only 35 copies plus 10 A. C., numbered and SIGNED by both the poet and the artist. A fine, as-new copy. Destined to be a real "stopper" for Ferlinghetti collectors. The delicate paper label on the front panel of the box has a tear, else this item is in fine condition.
