Decorated small 8vo cloth. 181pp. Glued on the front paste down, the ffep, its verso, & the blank preliminary page are clippings regarding Lindsay, & also one original photograph of the famous Illinois poet with two friends. The photo (2 1/2" x 3 1/8", corner clipped) is of Lindsay & a family in Idaho looking upon some wildflowers with a hand written caption under it & the owner's signature above it. The clipping (taped , not glued) on the verso is an obituary of Lindsay's widow. Another clipping, folded, is a eulogy of Lindsay, himself. Other than the affixing of the extra items, a vg copy & nice association item.

Presentation on the ffep by Triem "For Betty who was / dear to me even when time and / events kept us apart. / Bien amicalement - Eve Triem June 4th 1968". Beside the inscription is Xaire (in Greek) and a small colored pen drawing. Printed on fine paper & with a nice binding. The book is near fine only because the dj flaps have toned the each facing free fly to the extent of the width of the flaps. The dj is a plain one with the publisher's printed text on separate sheets applied. Scarce.

The poet & editor of several journals & magazines, among them Briarcliff Quarterly, Chronos, Pembroke Magazine, was at the Univ. of Oklahoma at the time of the publication of this title. He taught in several universities & schools. The usual splitting to places along the overlapping cover flaps, & a bit of exposure of the pages under the spine. Else fine. Scarce.

The address printed is the publisher's new address.The dj flaps of this second printing present several reviews of high praise from famous publications. Fine in dj.
