John Player & Sons Soft Cover. 7 1/4 x 5. Player's Medium Navy Cut Cigarettes at one time issued stamp-like cards with their packages. This is the album that holds these cards of sea fish common to Great Britain and Ire land. There are places for fifty cards. One card is missing in this album. The missing card is the COD ( somewhat prophetic). Illustration on paper front is of 3 men fishing in a rowboat - many sailbo ats are in the background. On back cover is the trademark of Players Navy Cut with "Player's Please" underneath. Price on cover is one penny. Cover has a few min stain- an indent on top at spine and a wee tear at bottom of spine, a crease on bottom corner of back cover. Cards are very neatly affixed and text is very clean. No former owner's name. Overall cond: good..

Wear to corners, edges and top and bottom of s pine but very minimal. A bit of dust soiling and rubbing and a few very small stains. Endpapers have former owner 's name. Text is clean and unmarked. The first person to read the uncut book had a bit of trouble separating page 34 and 35 and there is a chip out of the bottom of page 35. It seems like more of a characteristic than a flaw.
