Corners are bumped and edges are rubbed. Front has some min. soiling but is basicall bright and clean. Delightful illustration of forest animals, pixies, and a little girl. My favorite creature is a little hedgehog? on rear cover in housedress and apron with spikey hair sticking out of her kerchief. Text has yellowed somewhat. Only mark is a pen squiggle in one illustration. Corner is creased on last page. Endpapers are clean. No former owner's name. Evidence of hinging at endpapers but book is still tight and intact.
