At some point, the volume was restored with the newer cloth spine. Exterior is quite worn and includes a number of worn through areas and stains to covers. Light to medium internal soiling in a few places, though this isn't terribly offensive. Short tears to extremities of just a few pages, with no effect on the reading of the text or the illustrations. Binding is sound, and despite wear to boards, this book remains overall a charming copy
