Exteriors admit to minor dings and a few tiny tears, here and there, with light soiling and a few creases to same. A name in ink to front covers of 2 issues, else, text clean and volumes sound. Lincoln, Illinois: Courier Print Shop. First Edition . Soft cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8pp. This is a program for a pageant put on by Lincoln Community High School in 1936. The pageant was entitled "At Century's End". The volume is fully intact, but admits to some wear, including a crease to the entire length of the covers and pages, right down the middle. Additionally, there are several short tears and mildly frayed areas to extremities, with some light soiling to exterior. Overall, this is a nicely preserved copy of an item that is not likely to come up for sale very often. SCARCE 0

Hyde, with signature dated 1887, then later owned by John Fowlow Tulk (an Episcopalian minister who attended Trinity College in CT and who passed away in MN in 2013), with his ownership information dated 1956. Edited, with notes, by William J. Rolfe and Heloise E. Hersey. Several minor bumps, small chips, and worn through areas to extremities of volume, with light to medium wear and light soiling to remainder of cloth. Gilt lettering to spine and front cover remains clear and bright. Frontispiece of Browning, with original protective tissue in place. Two previous owners neatly inscribed their information in ink to front free endpaper, else, text clean.

Old library markings on front paste-down were blacked out with marker a long time ago. Short tear to front paste-down endpaper. Text clean. A good, sound reading copy
