Description:
Hardcover edition published by Viking, 1995. A later edition. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. From the Whitbread Award winning 'Fools of Fortune', this is the story of a young girl from a rural Irish town falls in with an older man who is not what he at first appears to be. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks. No writing on the text pages. Black boards with the title and author name imprinted on the spine in gold. The boards are flat and the corners are not bumped or creased. Edges of the text block have just a couple of tiny dots of age tanning at the top edge. The dust jacket only has a slight bump mark on the back panel from shelf wear, only visible at an angle. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
