Harrisburg: Stackpole Books, 1989. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1989 UNCORRECTED PROOF of the First Edition. Green paper covers with black lettering front. The rear cover has been cut away and is not present. There is a little crinkling to the lower corner of the last blank page, otherwise the book is like new and probably has never been read. There are no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid binding, clean. The book measures 209mm tall x 136mm and has 213 pages. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.

Boston: W. A. Wilde Company, 1924. 1st Edition 2nd Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Likely early reprint of First Edition. The books listed on the dust jacket flap end with this title; however, the list of Eaton's books in the advertisement at the end of the book have two other title following this title. Also there is a little "26" printed below the copyright information on the verso of the title page. The book is in very nice condition: clean, no rubbing, tight binding, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing. The original dust jacket has a 3cm tear lower front with crinkle marks, minor edge wear. Original grey cloth with b/w photo on front, black lettering spine. The book measures 195mm tall x 138mm, and has 315 pages + 1 page of ads, 8 b/w photos. The first sixty pages of the book are on skiing and the Southmead Winter Sports Carnival. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
