Two custom owner bookplates on front endpapers, one of Robert Bruce Moyer. Short closed tear at bottom of half-title page, otherwise text is fine. Cover has light soiling along edges, corners are rubbed and worn to board, and there are a couple of small chips to blue paper on edges of front cover. Vellum spine is clean and in good condition. A non-technical presentation on the pulp and papermaking industry - with 21 B&W photos. Though written almost 90 years ago, this book is still useful, for the industry of pulp and papermaking, other than chemistry and scale, is little changed.
