This is an nicely preserved copy of the 1911 ediition, unmarked except for an owner name stamped on the title page. Text pages are crisp and clean. Bound in blue cloth cover with white and dark blue pictorial stamping on the fornt panel. The cover is clean but lightly toned along the edges and moderately edgworn, cloth frayed at spine ends, corners lightly bumped. Pasted marbled endpapers, lacks free endpapers. The only marking to the book is on the rear blank page, upside down, and neatly penned "Benedicte Elisabeth / Sharffenstein / Anno 1771 l.5 Juillet." Pages, all edges stained red, are clean and supple with minimal foxing, excepting the title page and following leaf which are moderately stained along thumb edge. Last text page has a corner crease. (Any pages that appeared before the title page are no longer extant.) Cover is gilt-titled on spine. Spine and corner leather heavily worn and the paper covering is rubbed to almost nothing.
