Ocher linen covers with gilt Greek key borders, gilt title and decoration, gilt to spine. Front board a bit concave, spine faded, minor edge wear. Orange end pages. First blank has a gift inscription from a member of the Ranedda family whose crest is included in the volume. Text is clean and unmarked. Last blank and prior two leaves have some humidity rippling but no other signs of that. Priced low to reflect this small defect. Scarce, with a nice provenance. Very attractively put together history of this Congregationalist Church. Dark brown cloth spine, light brown paper boards with reproduction of baptismal records, etc. Boards clean, just a bit of wear at tips. Interior front blank has a few small marks, otherwise clean and sturdy, very nice.; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall .

Green cloth with blind ruling and gilt to the front boards. Spine is browned with no title, general wear to boards. Interior has a small scar to first fly, paper a bit browned, but otherwise clean and sturdy. Extraordinarily scarce.; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .

A history of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City from 1807-1924. Includes tenures and information on pastorsJohn Brodhead Romeyn; Cyrus Mason; George Potts; Dr. James Waddel Alexander; Dr. Nathan Lewis Rice; Dr. John Hall; George Tybout Purves; J. Ross Stevenson; John Henry Jowett; John Kelman. Red cloth covers with brilliant gilt are clean, normal wear. Interior has many notes, paper clips, newspaper cuttings, etc., from some previous owner who was very interested in or involved with the church -- some are interesting, such as a margin note stating that a mason who was paid $190 in 1834 also built "Colonnade Row". Dark oxblood with gilt covers are generally aged, spine tips are chipped particularly at the bottom edge, interior end papers are oxidized, paper is not highest quality and has browned a bit, but otherwise sturdy and clean.
