There is another Geological Survey map of Mississippi laid that is circa 1905. Cloth covers with tears and moisture stains. Gilt lettering and decoration is faded. First and last few leaves are darkened and show some foxing and offsetting. Folding frontis map of MI is a little darkened and shows light offsetting. Map is intact with only a couple of small tears outside the border. The later, circa 1905, map shows numerous closed tears along the folds. Volume remains tight and contents are generally clean..
