Mr. Rose was the editor of the Lyndon Herald, and this volume includes reprints of his "Just Ridin' Round Stories" previously published in that newspaper. Also in this volume are photos of the author and his wife, as well as flowers received for their Golden Wedding. Stories are followed by letters of congratulations by such other local editors are William Allen White and Arthur Carruth. Suede covers are a little worn, though lettering remains good. Title page shows a couple of very small stains and a small crease. Page 7/8 shows a half inch closed tear from the outside edge, not affecting text. Volume remains tight and is otherwise very clean and intact.
