Jacket is now in a clear Brodart protective sleeve.

Promotional pamphlet for Arizona and The Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe Railroad, with maps of the Santa Fe in Arizona and in the U.S., along with agency information and other details. 63 pages, saddle staped and folded. Each leaf with four pages, two on each side. A four page pamphlet on "The New Petrified Forest" is laid in. Covers are just a little soiled, and show handling creases along edges. Otherwise tight and generally clean copy. . First Edition. Soft Cover. Good/No Dust Jacket.

Topeka: Hamilton, Curl & Co., 1881. 283+ pages. Purple cloth covers with black stamped lettering and decoration. Cloth covers are scuffed, rubbed, and a bit mottled. Corners are bumped and a little worn. Cooper College Library stamp is seen at the top of the advertising front free end leaf, as well as inked numbers in the upper margins. There are no other library markings. Volume remains tight and contents are otherwise very clean. . First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.

Topeka: Hamilton, Curl & Co., 1881. 283+ pages. Purple cloth covers with black stamped lettering and decoration. Cloth is rubbed along edges and shows some wear at spine ends. There is a horizontal, closed, tear across spine about two inches above foot. Cloth is a little faded over spine. Lettering and decoration on covers remains good. Text block is cracked near center, with one signature slightly sprung and two leaves just overlapping outside edge. Title page shows an inked inscription that has been heavily scribbled out, as well as another inked name and address, all in blank space around top portion of title. Date of publication on title page is underlined and there are two inked check marks next to date. Verso of title page is preface that also shows scribbled out writing in blank space. Contents show a few Xs in margins and a few underlines of entries. Despite faults, volume remains fairly tight and contents are otherwise very clean. . First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Fair+/No Jacket.
