Jacket is price-clipped with chipping - especially to head of spine, but also corners and flap creases. Some tears, especially at head of spine and top of rear panel, marks, tanning, etc. Mark to ffep.

Bottom rear corner bumped and lesser dings to bottom front and top rear corners. Some tanning to page ends. Interior clean and binding tight. Jacket is unclipped($6.00) with short tears to bottom front and top rear flap creases, nicks to head of spine and general edgewear. Soiling/spotting and tanning to jacket.

Scuff marks to page following ffep, otherwise clean interior and solid binding. Jacket is price-clipped with price stamped next to cut. Light edgewear with nick to head of spine and some spots towards heel. In green slipcase with tipped pn title panel. Some sticker marks, light soiling, fading and edge/corner wear. Some nicks to opening - Good.

In olive pictorial marbled boards with black design motif and black spine cloth with bright gilt. A possible ex-library with minimal signs - only tape shadows to tops and bottoms of boards/free endpapers and adhesive stain to rfep. No pocket, due slip, stamps or writing. Top page ends tinted red with some splatter spotting. Three of four corners lightly dinged. Jacket is unclipped ($5.95) and in beautiful, unworn condition with just an 1/8 inch nick to top of front flap. Jacket design by Seymour Chwast.

Apparently inscribed as a gift by Kay Thompson, author of the Eloise books. In rose colored boards with debossed silhouette on front board and purple title panel on tan cloth spine with gilt to type. Corners and top of rear board dinged/bumped with boards showing in spots due to same and the industriouswork of silverfish at corners, edges, top page ends and some to cloth of spine. Some foxing to endpapers and first and last few pages, otherwise pretty clean with tight binding. Jacket is unclipped with chipping and silverfish activity(holes) to corners, spine ends, rear flap crease, bottom of front panel and to a lesser extent top of rear. Foxing/spotting to inside of jacket and jacket flaps and some scuffing to panels and spine of jacket.

Flaps of unclipped jacket($3.50) are glued to pastedowns with some residue from prior jacket protector under front flap on pastedown. Jacket is trimmed down about one 1/4 inch to fit into aforementioned protector with some creasing across middle from shrinkage. An arcing tear about 1 1/4 inches to bottom of rear panel near spine and nick to same, otherwise littel wear and no fading. In rose colored boards with debossed silhouette on front board and purple title panel on tan cloth spine with gilt to type. Top page ends tinted rose. Rubbing/fraying to corners and spine ends - especially at top. 'Fair Oaks' in pen to ffep, otherwise clean with solid binding.
