Short tear to bottom of rear cover as well with a couple tiny chips/nicks. Creasing at front bottom corner. Deckle edge.

In green cloth with silver foil to spine text. Top rear corner bumped with small split and lesser dings to bottom corners. Clean with tight binding. In unclipped jacket ($22.50)with some general edgewear, lamination lifting to top of front panel and 1/2 inch tear to top of rear panel. Tanning to edges of flaps.

Jacket is unclipped with some short tears to bottom of front panel and top of rear. Wear with nicks to spine ends and general edgewear.

In beige pictorial cloth with brown and blue line work. Top page ends tinted blue. Some foxing to board ends and peripheries and a few to page ends and endpapers. Interior otherwise clean and binding solid. New Yorker article on Kafka by Cynthia Ozick from The New Yorker laid in. Jacket is price-clipped with some chipping to corners and spine ends, a few tears to top of rear panel and spine, tanning with some spot stains and sticker shadow to spine. Some tanning with light foxing to rear panel as well and a few scuffs to front panel. With the wonderful jacket/cover designs and illustarations by George Salter.

In red cloth with black title panels and dulled gilt. Soiling to boards and wear at corners and spine ends with small spot of fraying to head of spine. Names to ffep, and top of title page which has price stamp as well. Intermittent underlining and a few notes in text. Jacket is unclipped($1.95) - though price inked out - and well worn with scuffing, edgewear and chips to corners and spine ends. A few short tears as well.

The author's magnificent homage to the disappearing face of Europe which inspired Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel. Assumed First Danish Edition. A very nice copy in patterned boards and leather corners and spine. Page ends sprayed/speckled blue. Small sticker removal scar(1/2"" X 3/4"") to rear board and a few scuffs to boards in general. Light edgewear. Smudge to one page, otherwise clean interior and tight binding.
