Weinberg was a prize-winning writer, and subjects in this volume include the Holy Grail, William Seward, Cuba, the American Revolution, and Reconstruction. Small selection of poems, two in facsimile of the original handwritten manuscripts. Unsigned, 15-page introductory memoir of Weinberg's life. vi, 158 pp. Frontispiece portrait of Weinberg and one plate of two academic medals he was awarded. Printed on Ruisdael laid paper with wide margins. Sturdy 8vo in full black leather with silver lettering. 8.5 by 6.25 inches. Good overall with light external wear. Light to moderate foxing of the text pages throughout. Tear at the bottom of the portrait plate, not affecting the image. A sound copy of an uncommon book.
