SIGNED, UNCORRECTED PROOF. New York, Hold Rinehart Winston, 1978. Signed with a Doodle and Dated ("August 16, 2014") by Nichols on the Title Page, no inscription. Near Fine in Near Fine Wrappers. The spine is lightly faded with a 1-inch tear on the bottom front of the spine and mild creasing on the front and back wrappers. Text is Clean and Unmarked. The first few pages are beginning to separate slightly from the binding at the bottom. Overall, a very nice signed copy of the fragile uncorrected proof of Nichols scarce second book of the New Mexico Trilogy.
