Cover worn and chipped, large pieces missing from rear board, interior missing front free endpapers and pages 343-350, paste-down endpapers partially torn away, frontispiece missing, 2 plates present and partially torn off, text and plates are age-tanned and occasionally moisture-stained, binding is tight and text is entirely readable. An imperfect copy, but rare edition in any condition.
