All volumes are in the original binding, with brown half leather spine and corners and marbled paper boards, paste-downs and endpapers. The leather spine show wear to the edges, with small chips to the edges of a couple of volumes. There is rubbing and some fading and discoloration to spines. The board edges and corners show some wear. The pages are all tight and the text blocks are square and tightly bound. The pages are clean and white and remarkably free from foxing. A beautiful set of this important early English bibliographical work. .
