Akron, Ohio: Saalfield, 1920. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Queen Holden (dj). Though the copyright date is 1920, this book must be later, as the artist Queen Holden began working around 1928. I believe it is earlier than versions which have a black silhouette of the Blossoms on the cloth covers. This version is in plain green cloth, and is vg, tight and square, though there is a pencilled gift inscr. on the ffep and the pages are turning brown. The dj is good, with noticeable browning on the spine and rear panel; chips at top & bottom esp. spine & corners; and a 2" tear at the edge of the spine bottom. The illustration wraps around to the spine; it is in good shape except where sunned on the spine. There is a frontispiece as well but no indication as to artist; may also be by Holden. She is famous for her paper dolls, the quality of which can be seen in the color dj illustration. 182 pp.
