A handmade 2.5" x 2" miniature, cleverly bound in 4 signatures in stiff paper covers of red and gray; paper is cut to reveal 'ABC' on the front and 'XYZ' on the back. The sad story of an apple pie, with an Art Nouveau alphabet designed by E. Mulier. Includes a tipped-in packet of apple seeds. This is #4 of only 20 copies hand-drawn by Challenger, near fine.

St. Louis: Browning Arms Co., 1968. Soft cover. Very Good. A miniature owner's manual, 2" x 1.5", a 16-p. booklet (including covers) in vg condition. On the rear cover is a tiny bookplate, "Ex Mini-Libris Levitan", indicating it came from a collector's library of miniatures. These pistols were discontinued by Browning in 1969.

Margaret Challenger, 2001. Soft cover. Fine. Margaret Challenger. A handmade paper box, 1" x 2" x 2.5", containing 3 unfolding Credos and a handsewn 4-p. Colophon. The Credos, illustrated with postage stamps and with hand-drawn calligraphy by Challenger, each unfold into the shape of a cross. An edition of 10 boxes was made in September 2001 to commemorate the attack on New York City. This is from the 2nd edition of 12, made in March 2002 for the 6-month anniversary; this is #2. All in fine condition.

Overall vg (edgewear, bumping to covers) except for 'Only a Doll' which is fair (stitched binding came undone, prev. owner rebound by staple to side edge of last 8pp which obscures portions of these pages) in good case (scratched, worn; title piece of rear case heavily scraped, sticker of prev. owner's name covers half of the title piece).

This is #21/55 copies SIGNED in front by Coffey and in the rear by publisher Pat Baldwin, vg (cracked at two fold-out poems, lightly cocked).

Apparently the 1st printing of this little history, later published by Lathourakis' own Tabula Rasa Press. A 3" x 2.25" miniature in decorated boards, vg+; The front endpapers were stuck together and have been pulled apart (binding flaw I think) but it didn't do much damage. 57 pp. incl. illustrations & a map.

A clever origami construction; each haiku is illustrated by assemblages of marbled paper, and pulling apart the page ends reveals other marbled-paper pictures. This is #16 of 60 handmade copies SIGNED by Pat Baldwin, designer/publisher.
