Spines slightly faded, light spotting of the top edge of pages, board edges lightly rubbed, spine ends pushed in, but not frayed, and tips of boards slightly pushed in as well. A monthly review bound up for each of years 1903, 1904, and 1905. Each volume has its own title page and preface that were not part of the monthly magazines; the original covers of the monthly magazine are not bound in. Articles by various writers on different species of plants and trees. The magazine started in April 1903 and ran through December 1905, thus Volume 1 includes nine months, the other two volumes twelve months each.
