Bound in lithographed boards (rather than the usual card covers), acetate wrapper. 12" x 9" Daver's 48-page introduction gives an overview of David Stone Martin's work, along with some biographical data and an essay on "Jazz in Pen and Ink." The illustrations are 58 full-page portraits of jazz musicians and 48 pages of record-album covers (averaging five or six per page), all painted in color by David Stone Martin. Printed on the flyleaf: "This copy is one of a private edition limited to 150 copies, published in Tokyo on the 25th of February 1991 and has been signed here by David Stone Martin [and] Manek Daver." Both signatures are clear and bold. On the title-page is a four-line presentation inscription in blue ink, signed by Manek Daver and dated at Tokyo, February 25, 1991.

Bound in printed wrappers, 10" x 8" The programme for all three units is printed as the centerspread. Laid into this copy is a handwritten (pencil) set list of 19 tunes. The final one, "Swing in the Blues," calls for guitar, bass, drums and trumpet. Hymphrey Lyttelton's aggregation was the only one listing a guitar man, so we conclude that this set list was compiled by Humphrey or one of his men.
