G+. circ 1879. Ephemera. Good plus condition. Not exactly a cabinet photo. Oval photo is clear and still quite crisp. Paper backing that is gled to cardboard does have some staining at lower right side but does not affect the photograph. This stain does cover the last letter of his autograph. Believe Mr. Varnum to be the NYC district assemblyman from 1879 to 1880.photo available upon request. Part of photography studio's name is gone from back but sheould be MacDonnald's of Albany NY. ; Photograph; 41/4x61/2 .
